Our 23rd Grandchild Arrives

Cheryl delivered a little "big" boy on June 17.  He weighed in at 10 pounds and 8 ounces!  Ben is one proud Dad who gratefully describes the miracle of Chase's birth.   I have to admit with my new camera and the freedom of taking multiple digital pictures I racked up hundreds of pictures of this precious baby in just a few days.  I have weaned it down to just 114 pictures--of course that is just pictures of him by himself.  Becoming a more effective photographer was one of my goals so I do have an excuse!
It is amazing how much a baby can change in just a few days.
Chase was just minutes old in this picture.
A couple hours later and you can see slight changes already.  Isn't he precious?!
At six days old, Chase was alert and ready for a real photo shoot.  Cheryl and I had fun posing him and taking loads of pictures.  The only sad part of this is that I won't be around to take any pictures for a while.  Why does Utah have to be so far away!
The first picture of the Gibson family of six.  Chase is only about three hours old.
Grandpa, Brayden, Cambrie and Addie admire the little one.
What a blessing a grandchild is!
Courtney is our oldest grandchild and Chase is the youngest
with 21 other special grandchildren in between.
I love this picture because it represents all that a child is and can become.
Congratulations to Ben and Cheryl!
We love you!

I am so thankful for all the help you and dad were! Also thanks for taking pictures in the delivery room. I love so many of his first pictures! You really are great at taking pictures! It was sad to have you leave. I kept thinking of how old Chase will be the next time you see him. Made me cry... (postpartum hormones!!!) Love you! Thanks for all you do.
