My mother always had flowers in our yard as I was growing up. As I work in my own yard now, it brings back fond memories of the beauty she created around our home with flowers and plants. I love it when it cools down in the Fall, especially the cooler nights so we can leave doors and windows open. The plants in our yard love the cooler weather, too, and bloom like it is Spring.
I redid my raised planters. I put red and white geraniums in the back yard. In the front we have a variety of purple petunias with butterfly irises.
I love this pot with its miniture petunias and the deep maroon snapdragons. The miniture petunias were hard to find.
